American Idol Live Concert

We had so much fun at the American Idol Concert especially when it was Adam Lambert's turn to rock the stage. He was amazing and had EVERYONE on their feet screaming. I felt a little sorry for Kris because he had to follow Adam and everyone sat down. Sydney could not wait for Adam to come on and was screaming louder than we were. What a great night!

Beautiful Portraits...cannot wait to scrap them!

Amy from Impact Phototgraphy took amazing pictures of Sydney.
I cannot wait to share them all but want to do some scrapping first. We had pictures taken to celebrate our 1 year Home anniversary.

I Love Dim Sum

I try to take Sydney a few times a month to have Dim Sum... it is her favorite by far! She eats so much and is all smiles every time we go to her "favorite place". I love it when my friend, Faye, comes too so she can translate for us and tell us what is the best! Of course I am not in the picture since I am the daily photographer... oh well.

We're Having a Good Time in New York

The weather is wonderful and Sydney is doing just fine now. It has been a nuisance trying to get 4 breathing treatments in every day but they are helping. We finished up her antibiotics today and her steroid so we just have to get another chest x-ray when we get home. Her lungs are finally sounding clear.
We have been able to see a lot of New York but we have all taking turns carrying her around. I cannot believe how much construction is going on here. I have been here several times but I have seen a lot more this trip to the point that it is ridiculous. Everything seems to be getting a face lift. We stayed in a hotel in the downtown financial district and walked all around that area. We haven't been here in a few years and I was expecting to see some progress on the World Trade Center site...nope looks pretty much he same to me.
We went to the Statue of Liberty...would have loved to have gone in the crown but we were told that it was sold out until NOVEMBER! Bummer!
We walked through Chinatown and had a great lunch and walked back to our hotel. We attended Elizabeth's banquet at the Little People of America Conference in Brooklyn and had a great dinner. We also walked Time Square and had dinner at Planet Hollywood.
On Friday we to Mark's parents house in Bronxville which is nice area about 15 minutes outside Manhattan. We went up to the observation deck of the Empire State Building and walked 5th Ave. Sydney loved FAO Schwarz but did not enjoy all the walking so once again we took turns carrying her around.

Time to Dress up a Little

Sydney's big sister has dwarfism and we all attended her Little People of America National Conference which was held in New York this year. For those of you who are curious...Little Person or LP is the preferred terminology for a person of short stature.
Elizabeth had a wonderful time as always and we all enjoyed being there for the banquet this year except for Sydney having to wear a dress. :)

And our Vacation Begins!
