- Sydney FuXia was born in Guangxi, China and was united with her Forever Family in June 2008 at the age of 6 years old. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and we are truly blessed. We are now traveling back to China to adopt another 9 year old girl. We hope others who read this blog are inspired to adopt older children.

Hi, I came across your blog and I just wanted to say that Sydney is just adorable. I adopted by daughter Kate in Sept. 2006. She will turn 6 in July. She is a tom-boy through and through, as it appears that Sydney is also. Aren't they fun. Kate's only concession to girliness is her jewelry. She absolutely loves necklaces and bracelets.
