- Sydney FuXia was born in Guangxi, China and was united with her Forever Family in June 2008 at the age of 6 years old. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and we are truly blessed. We are now traveling back to China to adopt another 9 year old girl. We hope others who read this blog are inspired to adopt older children.

Hello! I found your blog through Bev's blog, bringing Angel home. Your Syndey is just beautiful. I, too, am adopting a 6 year old. I have 3 bio and hope to bring our new daughter home this December. When I have a little more time I plan to read your blog thoroughly. I'm a little terrfied by the thought of bringing a 6 year old home. Thanks! ~Raina
