Well, we made it through the first leg of our amazing journey. We have arrived in San Francisco. The flight was smooth yet just a small glimpse of the long haul ahead. We are all very excited but exhausted from all the packing and preparation. We are looking forward to getting some sleep during our 14 hour flight to Hong Kong…hopefully we will be successful.
I cannot believe that this trip is finally here. It still seems like a dream and I keep trying to tell myself "Yes THIS is it, it is happening finally". After waiting for 3 years, I am going to sit back and enjoy every minute of China and embrace the country is which my daughter is from. Yes, we are all a little apprehensive traveling to a truly foreign country but yet there is a level of excitement in all of us that has never been seen before. Wow, China we are finally almost there and about to meet the little girl we have been dreaming about for so long.
We are about to board our long flight to Hong Kong!!

I cant believe you are finally on your way!!! Keep sending the posts and pictures, it is so fun to follow along. The girls left for SMU cheer camp this morning and grant got his wisdom teeth out yesterday, he was hilarious under the effects of the meds!! Have FUN!!
